DOCTRINAL STATEMENTS

1. We believe that the whole Bible in the originals (all the 66 books from the Old Testament and the New
Testament) is inspired by God and therefore without error. It is the highest authority for believers’ faith and living.

2. We believe in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; that the Three in One
together created the whole universe, eternally exist, without beginning or end, and have precisely the
same nature and attributes.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of
Virgin Mary. He is sinless yet He died for the sins of the whole world on the cross, arose from death after
three days, and appeared before His disciples before His ascension to heaven. He is now seated at the
right hand of God, intercedes for believers, and will return again to earth in a glorified body.

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is God. He convicts sinners so that they repent and be born again. He
dwells in believers to move and to teach them and is the source of strength for believers’ living and service.

5. We believe that man was created in the image and after the likeness of God. And that sin had entered
the world and affected the whole mankind through the transgression of our first ancestor, Adam. Mankind
has ever since been alienated from God and cannot save himself or herself.

6. We believe that salvation is totally out of God’s grace. It is only through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection that all those who believe in Him shall have their sins forgiven and be justified through faith. Being redeemed, believers will be forever preserved and secured in Christ because of God’s power and grace.

7. We believe that the church is the body of Christ and that Christ is the Head of the church. The universal church is made up of all born again believers while the local church is for the gathering of believers in different localities. They may together worship and serve the Lord and have fellowship with and love for one another.

8. We believe that the church is to observe two sacraments only. They are the baptism and Holy
communion as established by the Lord Jesus. These sacraments and any other are not criteria for
salvation.

9. We believe in the imminent rapture of believers, a blessed hope of the church. After the rapture, the
world on earth will experience the Tribulation for seven years. Christ will then bring the church with Him
and return to earth in glory to introduce the millennial kingdom; then and only then will the new heaven
and new earth be established.

10. We believe that all the dead will resurrect; believers will be resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God,
while those who do not trust Christ, will suffer eternal punishment and separation from God.
